ArbitrationIn the event the parties are not able to resolve any dispute between them arising out of or concerning these Terms and Conditions, or any provision hereof, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise at law or in equity for damages or any other relief, then such dispute all be resolved only by final and binding arbitration pursuant to the Federal Arbitration Act, conducted by a single neutral arbitrator and administered by the American Arbitration Association, or a similar arbitration service selected by the parties, in a location mutually agreed upon by the parties. The arbitrator’s award shall be final, and judgement may be entered upon it in any sort having jurisdiction. In the event that any legal or equitable action, proceeding or arbitration arises out of or concerns these Terms and Conditions, the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover its costs and reasonable attorney fee’s. The parties agree to arbitrate all disputes and claims in regards to these Terms and Conditions or any dispute arising as a result of these Terms and Conditions, whether directly or indirectly, including Tort claims that are a result of these Terms and Conditions. The parties agree that the Federal Arbitration Act governs the interpretation and enforcement of the provision. The entire dispute, including the scope and enforceability of this arbitration provision shall be determined by the Arbitrator. This arbitration provision shall survive the termination of these Terms and Conditions.

Cancellations, No-Shows, & TardinessWhen an appointment is forgotten or canceled without giving enough notice (48 hours), the opportunity to fill that time is missed, and other clients may miss the opportunity to receive services. Appointments are confirmed 24 hours in advance because it can be quite easy to forget an appointment. It is understood that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary. Therefore a 24-hour notice is respectfully requested. Failure to do so will result in a $50 cancellation fee, which will, in addition to your regular service charge, be collected before your next appointment is scheduled. A 10 min grace is given for tardiness. After 10 min a $25 late fee will be charged. After 30 min, the appointment will be rescheduled or canceled! (Conditions apply) DO NOT TEXT or CALL at the time of appointment to inform of being late. A COURTESY TEXT OR CALL SHOULD BE SENT AT LEAST 10-15 MINUTES BEFORE SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT IF RUNNING LATE. Transfer ClientsAll clients who are not established by Loc’d In Beauty are transfer clients and must have a consultation before a retightening/retwist will be given. This is done to access the condition of the hair and make any recommendations if needed. At this time, the client is encouraged to discuss any issues or concerns. A $50 (non-refundable) consultation fee will be charged and applied to the service when scheduled.

PaymentsPayments are made online via the booking app. To secure your establishment appointment, you will be required to make a non-refundable retainer of $250, which will be applied to your establishment cost. This is done because blocking our calendar for a specific time does not allow others to schedule services, with the remainder the day before establishment.

Follow-up Visits (Starter Locs, Sisterlocks and Brotherlocks)Retightening visits are determined by the growth rate and type of the individual's hair, typically 4-6 weeks. Failure to adhere to a regular schedule affects the retightening period and can affect the hair's condition, such as breakage, matting, and other undesired results caused by irregular maintenance. Loc’d in Beauty is not be held responsible for these results if conditions outlined are not followed. If a newly established client decides to not keep the appointed return for retight, the regular retight fee shall be applicable. Hair must be freshly washed within a 24 hour period and separated before set appointments. This applies if the client shampoo before the appointment.
